You can leave the car behind. Park by the beach at Coral Bay and take bus 615 into Paphos. The 616 back up the hill to Peyia makes its last run from Coral Bay at 22:30, so after that plan on a taxi.

- Cyprus drives on the left, and you go round roundabouts clockwise, just as in the UK.
- Speed limits are in kilometres per hour: 50 in built-up areas, 80 on other roads and 100 on motorways, with a 65 minimum, unless signs say otherwise.
- A UK photocard driving licence is accepted. If you’re under 25, or have held your licence for less than three years, tell the hire company when you book.
- Hire cars have red number plates, often starting with Z.
- Children up to 135 cm need a child seat, and from 135 to 150 cm a booster. We hire out child car seats for the car you hire; tell us each child’s age when you book.
