The Paphos to Coral Bay bus is route 615, run by Pafos Buses. It goes between the Tombs of the Kings bus station in Kato Paphos and Coral Bay, along the coast through Chloraka and Kissonerga, and for most of the day you won’t wait more than a quarter of an hour for one. Coral Bay beach is about 4.4 km from the villa.
The times and fares below are the ones Pafos Buses published when we read its pages in October 2026. Its timetable pages carry no date, so check them again before you rely on a first or last bus.
The route in short
| Route 615 | |
|---|---|
| Runs between | Tombs of the Kings bus station and Coral Bay |
| By way of | Tombs of the Kings Avenue, Chloraka, the Kissonerga coast road, Coral Bay Avenue |
| Daytime | Every 10–15 minutes for most of the day |
| Evening and night | Every 20 minutes from April to November, every 30 from December to March |
| Single fare | €2, or €3 after 21:00 |
| Day ticket | €6.50 |
The 615 does not start at Paphos harbour or in the old town. It starts at the Tombs of the Kings bus station, so from anywhere else in Paphos you take another bus there first and change.
First and last buses by day
Pafos Buses runs three day timetables on the 615: one for school days, one for weekends and holidays, and one for the weeks when the schools are closed. They differ by minutes rather than hours.
| Timetable | From the Tombs of the Kings | From Coral Bay |
|---|---|---|
| Monday to Friday in the school period (September to June) | 06:05 to 17:45 | 07:00 to 18:20 |
| Saturdays, Sundays, school and public holidays | 06:05 to 17:50 | 06:50 to 18:25 |
| Outside the school period, every day | 06:20 to 17:50 | 06:50 to 18:20 |
On a school day the buses from the Tombs of the Kings leave every 10 minutes from 08:00 to 11:30 and every 10 to 15 minutes through the afternoon. From Coral Bay they leave every 10 minutes from 08:30 until just after midday. Early in the morning the gaps are longer: from the Tombs of the Kings there are buses at 06:05, 06:20 and 06:30, and then nothing until 07:30.
At weekends and on holidays the pattern is every 10 to 15 minutes from 08:20 at the Paphos end and from 08:50 at Coral Bay.
The page doesn’t say which months count as outside the school period, though the school-day timetable is labelled September to June, which leaves July and August.
Evening and night buses
When the day timetable stops, a night timetable takes over on the same route, so the last bus back is much later than the tables above suggest.
| Months | From the Tombs of the Kings | From Coral Bay |
|---|---|---|
| April to November | Every 20 minutes from 18:00 to 23:40, then 00:15 and 00:40 | Every 20 minutes from 18:30 to 00:10, then 00:40 and 01:05 |
| December to March | Every 30 minutes from 18:00 to midnight | Every 30 minutes from 18:30 to 00:30 |
That makes dinner in Kato Paphos and a bus back to Coral Bay a realistic plan at any time of year. Remember that a single ticket costs €3 instead of €2 after 21:00. For ideas on where to spend the evening, see our guides to Paphos harbour and castle and Paphos nightlife.
Fares and tickets
These are the Paphos district fares at the time of writing:
- One way: €2.
- One way after 21:00: €3.
- Day ticket: €6.50, which pays for itself on the fourth ride.
- Week ticket: €35 for the kind that needs no ID. A personalised one is €25, but it is issued at an information office with your ID and a photo.
- Children: free up to and including the age of 5. Children up to 12 pay half, and so do pupils of 13 to 18 who can show ID.
You buy one-way, day and night tickets from the driver as you get on. The Pafos Buses ticket page doesn’t mention paying by bank card on the bus, so carry coins and small notes. Luggage is included in the fare.
A family of four with two children under 12 pays €6 each way on single tickets. That is worth setting against a taxi if you are only going one way, and against hiring a car if you plan to do it every day. Our guide to driving in Cyprus covers the other side of that choice.
Coral Bay to Peyia and Agios Georgios: the 616
Route 616 starts where the 615 ends. It runs from Coral Bay, by Corallia beach, up Coral Bay Avenue to Pegeia Square in the middle of Peyia, and on to the church square at Agios Georgios on the coast to the north. It runs every day of the week, but only a handful of times.
| Direction | Day buses | Evening buses |
|---|---|---|
| From Coral Bay | 08:30, 09:50, 11:10, 13:30, 14:50, 16:10, 17:00 | 19:30, 20:30, 21:30, 22:30 |
| From Agios Georgios | 09:10, 10:30, 11:50, 14:10, 15:30, 16:50, 17:30 | 20:00, 21:00, 22:00, 23:10 |
With gaps of an hour or more, the 616 is a bus you plan around rather than turn up for. It is useful for a morning at the harbour and basilicas of Agios Georgios without the car, or for an evening in Peyia’s square.
Where the bus leaves you
At the Coral Bay end the 615 stops by the beach: Visit Cyprus lists a bus stop near Coral Bay beach, which is 500 metres of golden sand with calm, shallow water and lifeguards from April to October. Our guide to the best beaches near Coral Bay describes it and its neighbours.
At the Paphos end you get off at the Tombs of the Kings bus station. For the archaeological sites and the old town, see our guide to Paphos old town, which covers the Tombs of the Kings as well.
Coming from the airport, there is no direct bus to Coral Bay: you change onto the 615 at this same station. Our guide to getting from Paphos airport to Coral Bay has the airport buses, the taxis and the hire-car desks.
What the timetable doesn’t tell you
- How long it takes. Pafos Buses gives no journey time for the 615. Its live journey planner (opens in a new tab) shows where the buses are.
- Which date it applies from. Neither route page is dated, and timetables here change with the seasons. Read the route 615 page (opens in a new tab) on the day.
- Which days are public holidays. They follow the weekend timetable on the 615, and the route page links to the list of Cyprus public holidays rather than printing it.
- Pushchairs. The ticket page says luggage travels free and doesn’t mention pushchairs either way.
Do you need a car at the villa?
For most stays, yes. Villa Prasino is in Peyia, on the hillside above Coral Bay, and no bus comes to the door. The 616 serves Pegeia Square and the 615 serves Coral Bay, about 4.4 km away, so a bus day starts with a short drive or a taxi.
Where the bus earns its place is on the days you would rather not drive: a long lunch at the harbour, an evening out in Kato Paphos, or a day when half the group wants the beach and the other half wants the old town. Park at Coral Bay, where there is car parking by the beach, and let the 615 do the coast road.
Where to stay

Villa Prasino is a private villa for up to 6 guests, with a 6 × 12 m diving pool, a hot tub, an outdoor bar and a covered games area, in 1,000 m² of gardens. The gated driveway has room for three cars if you do hire one. The page for our villa near Coral Bay shows where it sits in relation to the beach. When you have dates, check availability and rates or send us a booking request.
