What September is like
Still summer: an average high of 29.4 °C, a low of 19.8 °C, 4.2 mm of rain and about 10 hours of sunshine a day. The sea stays warm long after the school holidays end.
September is the third-warmest month of the year in Paphos and the ninth-wettest, with 1% of the year’s rain. By day it’s 1.6 °C cooler than August and 2.4 °C warmer than October.
Relative humidity at the airport averages 69% in September, against 70% over the year. These are the averages for Paphos Airport, on the coast 9 metres above the sea; Villa Prasino is in Peyia, on a hillside above the sea at Coral Bay, so take them as a guide to the season rather than a forecast.
